What the iPanel is for
Most smart thermostats run on 24V. Many fan coil buildings in the Gulf and Asia were fitted with 220V wall thermostats instead. When a DropAir adapter has to work alongside a 220V thermostat installation, the iPanel is the accessory that makes the connection.
You don't need to work this out yourself. When you send us your current thermostat model and a photo of its wiring, we tell you whether the iPanel is needed and include it in the quote.
How it fits with the other models
The iPanel shares its housing with the Pro 6X but has a different job. It's usually paired with the Pro 6S on fan coil projects.
